3. The Aims and
Objectives of the Association are: |

3.1 To promote and foster interaction amongst the
alumni, teaching faculty and students of Bihar
Institute of Technology, Sindri. |
|
3.2 To encourage the
alumni to take abiding interest in the progress of BIT
Sindri.
|
|
3.3 To institute and
organize scholarship funds to help the needy and
deserving students of the institute.
|
|
3.4 To institute prizes
and awards for outstanding project works, research
papers and other professional activities by the
faculty, alumni and/or students of the institute and
to suitably recognize outstanding social and community
services rendered by them.

3.5 To create CHAIRS at
Bihar Institute of Technology, Sindri to promote
research and development.

3.6 To keep the ties of
alumni and Alma Mater intact.
|

3.7 To strengthen bond of
goodwill and brotherhood amongst the alumni.

3.8 To provide a platform
for discussing techno-scientific problems and latest
technological developments in national perspective.

3.9 To promote activities
aiming at improving upon the standard of teaching,
research and various academic activities at the
institute.

3.10 To honour the
distinguished members from amongst the alumni and to
inspire the students of this institute by such
interactions.

3.11 To promote industry -
institute interactions.

3.12 To establish,
maintain and regulate regional centers of the
Association in all such places as may be deemed fit.

3.13 To publish
Souvenirs/Journals/News Bulletins etc of the
Association.

3.14 To mobilize resources
for supporting and fulfilling the aims and objectives
of the Association.

3.15 To undertake and
promote all such activities as are conducive or
incidental to the attainment of the above objectives
and/or beneficial to the interest of the institute,
its students or alumni.
