There
has been several queries relating to issue of Original Degree
Certificates. I had a talk with the Prof-in-Charge of Academic Section
recently in the light of which the following update may be of some help
to our alumni:
1.
ODC is issued by the University and not BIT Sindri.
2. BIT Sindri Yahoo Group is a private mailing list for use by its
members. It has no official interface with BIT Administration.
3. A number of ODCs relating to Ranchi Univ are lying unclaimed in the
academic section of BIT. These were sent by the Univ
in bulk to BIT Sindri for distribution. Many of our
alumni have already collected their ODC from the academic section.
4. ODCs from Vinoba Bhave Univ for upto 1997 pass outs have also been
sent by the univ in bulk to BIT. Many of our alumni
have already collected their ODCs.
