Sun Temple

Sun Temple
Sun Temple is situated about 40 Km from Ranchi near Bundu on Ranchi - Tata road. It is built in the form of a chariot with 18 wheels drawn by seven white horses. It has been built by Sanskriti Vihar headed by Sri Ram Maroo, the Managing Director of Ranchi Express.

Jagannathpur Temple, Ranchi

Built by Nagvanshi Raja Thakur Ani Nath Shahdeo in 1691, the hill top Lord Jagannath Tepmle is situated at about 12 Km from Ranchi. It is believed that when Ani Nath became old and all his 21 sons were grown up, he thought of taking to Vairagya. He then moved to Puri with his servant. There Bhagwan Jagannath appeared in his dream and asked him to go back and build a temple where he will give darshan to him. So Ani Nath came back and built this temple where Rath Yatra started on Aashadh Shukla Paksha Dwitiya. It resembles the architectural style of famous Jagannath Tepmle of Puri in Orissa. Large number of devotees are attracted to this temple during Rath Yatra in the months of June/July.

 Amreshwar Dham

Amreshwar Dham
This is a temple complex of Lords Ganpati, Shiva, Ram-Sita and Hanuman. Situated amidst scenic surroundings in  Khunti, about 40 Km from Ranchi, the temple complex is known by the name Angrabadi. Swami Swarupanand Saraswati named it as Amreshwar Dham.

Sai Baba Temple
The Sai Baba Temple is situated at about 40 Km from Ranchi at Sai Gram Sarsa, Bero. It is visited by people of all communities. Free guest house facility is also available in the temple for the devotees.
Digambar Jain Temple
The Jain temple is located in the centre of Ranchi town. It is dedicated to Lord Adinath, Lord Bahubali and Lord Mahavira.
