Born at Patna in a traditional family, Murlidhar Srivastava, popularly known as MD, completed his graduation and then pursued management courses in marketing and also the public sector management. He joined a central public sector undertaking in its marketing division and worked for many years at different levels before opting to leave. Currently residing in Patna, he is engaged in his own venture, an IT-enabled service.

He enjoys music especially listening to old melodies of Lata in a calm and serene surrounding. Apart from that he reads books, watches cricket and enjoys comedy shows on TV.

Love Destiny...and those two days  is his debut fiction.
