I was born in Patna, the capital of Bihar. After my graduation, I did management courses in public sector and marketing streams. I started my working career with a large central public sector in its marketing division and worked for many years at different levels before opting to take VRS. Thereafter I engaged myself in my own ITES ventures providing quality services predominantly to medical professionals.

I always had a liking and fondness for two things that is to read books and to write about any topic that came to my mind. So far as reading was concerned, I kept on fulfilling it by reading books both in Hindi and in English of various genres but my writing ambition remained limited to writing some small articles here and there only. In our prime days there was no internet and no websites, and also living in small towns  like Patna and Ranchi were proving hindrance in getting some big platform to write. I think life of the writers in this computer age of internet and websites has become quite easy.

But you always feel something missing in your life if your inner desire or dream does not get fulfilled. So was it with me. I wanted to write and write something big. Finally when things got a little favourable, I wrote a complete fiction in English language and got a good publisher of Delhi instantaneously agreeing for its publication. In this way my first full work came in 2012 as an English novel titled “Love destiny and those two days.” This book got very good response by the readers and became a bestseller soon. This year in May, I launched my second book titled “9am to 9pm... a day with Verma family" which is based on some very modern day’s issues of Indian youth and Indian families.

I like writing and besides writing, whenever I have free time, I love to listen to old melodious Hindi songs especially those of Lata ji. It is said, a good and melodious voice soothes your mind and your body. Its true. Lataji’s golden voice literally works as a magic whenever I have a tensed mind.
